Here’s what to expect when registering as a student at SRSC!
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
How It Works

Fill out a contact form and we will get right back to you!
If you are interested in lessons at Snake River Strings Co. we know that a quality music education is important to you! We personalize every experience, so we would love to speak with you personally in order to give an accurate quote. We are confident that we have a program and teacher that will be a perfect fit for you. When we talk we will ask a few questions about the students experience, goals, and interests. Based off of that we will make some recommendations for the teacher with the best fit, and give you their availabilities and prices (each teacher has a different rate, and we offer family discounts). We are always open enrollment so the times given are first come first serve.
Fill out New Student registration form
We are always open enrollment so the available times given to you during our first interaction are considered first come, first serve. We never know when someone may call to sign up. After we talk, it’s important to pick a day and time for your first lesson, and then fill out the new student registration form in order to reserve that time for you and compete enrollment! Once we receive the form, your first month’s tuition will be charged as a deposit, the chosen day/time will be reserved for you and it will no longer be offered as an opening when other new students call to sign up.
The “New Student Registration Form” asks for contact and card information. It creates your student account on our website so that we can add you to the teachers calendar, you will receive email and text reminders about lessons and upcoming events, and auto-pay for lessons.
get ready to become a musician
You will receive an email after step 2 with welcome videos! Watch those videos before your first lesson so that we can get right to playing at your first lesson (and not have to talk about boring, but important, logistics)
If you have played before, please bring any materials you have previously worked on. If you are a beginner, no need to bring anything, your teacher will let you know at the first lesson if they’d recommend any books or supplies! We also carry a large selection of books and supplies that the teachers recommend in our retail area.
